It seems like online shelter mags are popping up everywhere these days – did you catch Lonny editor Michelle Adams’ appearance on the Nate Berkus Show yesterday? Well a new one just came to my attention, Australia’s Ivy & Piper! It’s got some great inspiration, the only drawback to which is that many of the goods are available only in Australia … enter the solution to that problem, this genious Ikea hack from one of my favorite bloggers, Jenny at Little Green Notebook! I think this is so smart and have filed this for use in the future when I need a new nightstand of side table! So smart Jenny!

DIY Supplies you need to create your own:
Lack table from Ikea, corbels from your local home improvement store,
wood glue/filler and paint color of your choice.
Another example of a similar table … this is so easy and you could do it to any of the pieces in the Lack series – sofa table, dining room table, desk, etc. and you could paint it any color for an amazing custom piece. My DIY juices are flowing, I’m gonna have to make something soon!
