Sometimes life just turns into a train out of control. Luckily I kept it on the track and safely pulled it into the station, but this blog has suffered the consequences and for that, I apologize. I have been working from 9AM until 9PM most night plus weekends and bits here and there from home when not at my desk and it has been crazy. Busy doesn’t even cut it. I lost 6 pounds because I haven’t even had time to eat! That’s probably the only bonus from this experience, except that I think I’ve made a great impression on my bosses and I have definitely proven to myself that I can take a lot. I mean, A LOT. I have a new record of being in the office until 1:30AM. FUN.
So now that that craziness has passed, I am feeling desperate to get organized and get back on top of it. I feel like I’ve had to leave everything behind in a trail of dust and disorganization. This starts with the fact that I am moving offices at work in 3 weeks AND with the exciting news that I got a new home computer. My MacBook Pro died on me (it was 8 years old afterall) and I got a great discount so my new baby arrived today and this means goodbye dining room table that acts as a place to pile things and hello new home office area for my baby I’m calling Maxwell (get it? Mac-swell). Some desk inspiration as I organize do-dads to pull a great look for it together. Pics and DIY coming once it’s complete!
Love the orange phone in this pic, I want one just like it!
